I am interested in the idea that fire has been an abiding element and significance in the development of landscape and culture.

In 2012 I began a research and development project, "Land and Memory", which I based on the concept that the land contains information, "a memory", of its development and changes since pre-historic times. The experimental work, explored new ideas with a variety of mediums and techniques and has led to work based on archaeological findings about fragmentation and disintegration.
