FIREDANCE
A series of paintings made between 2005 & 2009
"I saw some burning and later burnt gorse in the Radnorshire hills and the charred remains were reminiscient of dancing figures. I made the drawings with charcoal that I found on the site. I was learning Tango at the time."
NETHERLANDS series
In 1994 Susan Milne received an Arts Council of Wales Travel Award to work in the Netherlands with the landscape of Friesland. This was followed in 1995 by a bursary to develop the work after returning to the UK.
